Pharrell and Camila Cabello team up to serve up some ‘Sangria Wine’

Get ready to be shaken by Pharrell and Camila Cabello

After the massive success of their hit “Havana,” Pharrell Williams and Camila Cabello have joined forces once again to bring the world another bop. Instead of telling us about how half of their heart is in Havana ooh-na-na, they are playing on our love for alcohol.

“Sangria Wine” is an extremely catchy Latin pop song that will be stuck in your head for days. The beat is infectious and the lyrics are simple but yet extremely good. There is a verse that is completely in Spanish. The verse is probably the most complex verse out of the entire song. Here’s the English translation for you:

I know you want my body, uh
And you want to control my mind, eh
And everybody wants to own her
But no one can, aye

The song itself feels like there’s an accompanying dance to go with it. I’m calling it now that “Sangria Wine” is actually a dance that will shortly take over the world. This song is SO better than “Happy.” That song was overly hyped and overplayed. I wasn’t happy when it came on the radio.

Camila’s vocals on the song are life. She continues to prove that she was the real star of Fifth Harmony. I hope that a solo version from Camila comes out. Pharrell’s vocals aren’t bad on the song. They work with the vibe that is presented with the song. I just prefer Camila on the song. Camila is queen.

I highly recommend listening to “Sangria Wine” and adding it to your summertime playlist. It’s pretty much everything. Now, it did take me a while to warm up to “Sangria Wine.” It’s not that I hated at first. It’s a different style of song. I had to listen a few times to fully understand what I was feeling about it. But this song is going to be everywhere. Pharrell and Camila definitely have another hit on their hands.
