On Tuesday, March 24 Miley Cyrus released the DVD of her highly controversial and popular “Bangerz Tour”, or as I like to call it the “Bangerz Ball.” And like her father’s career, it was extremely disappointing to my “Achy Breaky Heart.” While it seems to be the complete tour, which isn’t always shown on Tour DVDs, it’s just her crappy NBC special that aired back in the fall (don’t remember it? good because neither did I).
The DVD is pretty much a hot mess. The editing is horrible. There are parts where the crowd is cheering, there’s a dead spot, and a few seconds later, the crowd resumes cheering. How hard is it to make it unnoticeable that you splice three days of filming together to make it look like you shot it in one day. And the director of the DVD needs to be fired because while I get that it’s part documentary, that doesn’t mean the concert part should be like a documentary as well. The shots made absolutely no sense because it was just a lot of far away shots while Miley singing and grinding. I’m not watching it to see the crowd every 2 minutes but Miley performing.
The worst part of the entire DVD is that it’s censored. I wanted Miley Cyrus screaming and singing profanity at me. If I wanted to see clean Miley, then I would watch “Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds Concert”, which I did because I turned this off horrible DVD off.
Overall, I would spend your money on something better and not on this DVD. Watch the concert on YouTube because the fan made ones is way better.

Miley Cyrus is back, y’all! This time, it’s a music video that is pretty much a sex tape…that is only starring her. So we thought we would watch it and review it for you so you don’t have to put your eyes through it (you’re welcome for that).
When I heard that “Adore You” was going to be the third single, I was a bit angry and confused. Originally, rumor had it that “SMS (Bangerz)”, featuring the legendary Britney Spears, was going to be the third single and that was a good catchy song. But having 2 ballads single back to back wasn’t the greatest idea that Larry Rudolph and Miley had even if Miley Cyrus shined when she did ballad.
“Adore You” is an overall okay song. It’s a ballad that pretty much has the same theme of “Wrecking Ball” except she isn’t going to come through like a Wrecking ball but rather a much subtle approach. The vocals on the song are good minus the beginning part that reminds me of the Hannah Montana segways when someone sad happened in the scene before. The background instrumental/beats are just weird with the song. Granted, most of Miley’s album are this but it just doesn’t work in this song.
Here’s the video if you want to brave through it:
The subtle approach that the song has is literally thrown out of the window by the music video. The video is Miley wearing skin color underwear in what I assume to be expensive see-through sheets, the only kind when you are expecting to get lucky. Then she’s wearing some sort of shear body suit, that looks like her grandma knitted her for christmas, in a bathtub. During this video, Miley is learning about the touch of her hand (Britney Spears song reference click here for the song if you don’t know it). Yes, Miley made the first ever solo celebrity sex tape that works as a music video. She also bust out a video camera and then records it herself.
The whole video is….just one big awkward video. It’s more awkward than “Wrecking Ball” (I didn’t think that was possible). It also didn’t leave a lot to the imagination which by now, it isn’t a surprise. Overall, I think this wasn’t a great move by her management team or by her. For the first time, I’m rather disappointed by Miley.

Guess what got released early via a iTunes stream guys!?! It’s the new MILEY CYRUS CD!! That’s right, Monday was a glorious day for all the smilers out there. With the stream release, it’s now time for our review of the album that the world….okay, the universe…has been waiting for.
Like many people , I was scared for my life because the new Miley is pretty much one scary and slightly disturbing with a mix of sex appeal that she hasn’t had before. The album title,”Bangerz”, itself just sounds like a bad porno title that was rejected because there was no story or flow with that movie and no one would watch. Well, the bad porno movie I just described to you is pretty much this album in a nut shell. But the no story or musical flow is what makes this album pretty much awesome. The album gives you the feel of what’s it like to be in Miley Cyrus’ head- A jumbled up southern mess of awesomeness.
Produced by her new “beau” Mike WiLL Made It, the bulk of the album is good ole dirty southern hip hop, which works surprisingly well with Miley. At certain points, I felt like I was too white to be listening to Miley Cyrus (which is pretty much the weirdest statement I have stated in my life). The album has it parts of Miley’s pop roots that shows off her vocals. Most of the pop songs are pretty much about her break up with Liam Hemsworth. Miley even gave sampled some past songs like “Push it” and “Stand by me”
This album is pretty much her début album-it’s the new Meet Miley Cyrus. The album gives you a good look into the mindset of Miss Cyrus and the most personal album that she has put out.
What didn’t work?: Nothing actually, this album is a gem!
