Big Brother 20 Breakdown: The Two night premiere spectacular extravaganza

Summer has begun and so has the 20th season of Big Brother

If you were like me, you couldn’t wait for Big Brother 20 to begin. Especially after the shitshow that we got in Big Brother 19. Well, it here and the one positive thing about it so far is that Paul isn’t on it. Personally, I would have teased his return just to see the world burn.

Since nothing has really happened yet, apparently it will take two weeks to evict someone instead of just right off the bat. So this will be fewer gifs and more about my opening thoughts on the houseguests. I have a lot of thoughts on these houseguests.

Sidenote: This week gifs are all of BB12 and BB14 houseguest Britney Haynes. She’s my favorite when it came to the DR. She is my spirit animal.

Swaggy C just needs to stop

CHRIS doesn’t freakin’ know how he is coming across now

It’s only been two episodes and Swaggy C needs to STFU. Literally, in the first episode, it was all him. He’s constantly referring to himself in the third person, it seems like all of his shirts will have his name on them. It reminds me of how when you go camping and your mother has to write your name on your clothes so they don’t get stolen or lost.

So in a matter of two days, Swaggy C has managed to outplay everyone from BB19. It’s not hard but it’s just way too soon to do that. He’s just rather annoying. Oh, this will also be the last time I refer to him as Swaggy C. His name is Chris. Until he gets a nickname that he didn’t give himself, I will refer to him by his first name Chris. I’m pretty sure that I will give him a nickname by the end of the week. Frankly, he needs to go next week. I’m just glad he hasn’t referred to himself as the messiah of Big Brother.

This cast is literally just remakes of past houseguests

Britney is right. Paul could have come back

I just going to come out and say it but this cast is pretty much a carbon copy of past houseguests that were in the house. They are pretty much giving us a second all-star season without it being an actual all-star season. Ugh. I would break down the comparisons but then we would be here all day. I like it but at the same time, I feel like it would have been easier to have another all-star. Would you rather have the name brand or the knock-off brand? Like I said, I like the cast but I just wish for another all-stars. CBS will have to cave eventually.

This cast is a good mixture of outrageous personality and people who won’t make you want to drink when they are on. There’s a lot of eye candy too. I love me some sugary eye candy. But two personalities I want to go away, besides Chris, is Kaitlyn and Rockstar. These two “go to the beat of their own drummers.” Kaitlyn is a crystal loving aura reading life coach. Rockstar’s real name is Angie and she’s a witch. Expect a lot of crystal and witch jokes. Especially on Twitter. My Twitter is pretty much full of Big Brother this time of year.

Thoughts so far

This is the mentality that they all need to have

I’m really liking the fact they are actually playing this game. This cast is probably the best cast in the last couple of years. Sure, they are remakes of past houseguests but at least they are making it entertaining. I don’t see Chris making far in the game. If he does, I’ll be rather shocked. He’s just playing too hard. I do like Tyler. Tyler is actually reading people and catching on to the shit they are trying to do. He does know his BB. He knew who the queen of Petty was. So far, Tyler is my favorite. Winston is a close second but that has less to do with gameplay. Of course, it’s hard to tell who I like when all the DR has been Chris.

I really wish to see more of them when the live feeds launch. Hopefully, less of Chris. It will be interesting to see if he has pissed more people off after the nomination ceremony. Who am I kidding, he probably did. Dude thinks he is running the house.

Oh, here’s the bullet points of what is going on now:

  • Chris won the opening competitions and picked himself, Brett, Faysal, Haleigh, Kaycee, Rachel, Rockstar (sigh), and Scotty
  • Sam and Kaycee were last in their competition so they are stuck in costumes until the first eviction. Sam is a robot and Kaycee is making fun of Macs in a “pinwheel” unitard.
  • Tyler won HOH…even though he didn’t want it.
  • Tyler played it safe and nominated Steve and Sam.

Make sure you follow me on Twitter for more of my Big Brother reactions. They are usually everything.

Celebrity Big Brother Breakdown: What has happened so far?

So we need to have a talk about what the fuck has happened on Celebrity Big Brother US. Because this is a four-week season instead of one that last three months, It’s extremely hard and time-consuming to post a breakdown after ever eviction. Don’t worry, that will happen when Big Brother Canada starts back up next month.

The rise and fall of Shannon Elizabeth

Me hoping that Mark will go home instead

When I saw that Shannon Elizabeth was going to enter the house, I was pretty excited to see what she could do in this game. She watched the show and she’s a super fan. Sigh. Shannon honestly just played too hard too quickly. She got a target extremely quickly when she won the first HOH and the Veto. She didn’t need to win any of that. They were even trying to backdoor her last week. I don’t know what made her play so hard but it do anything but hurt her in the game. It might have been classic super fan karma. They tend to play this way often.

I hope that Shannon can turn it around and convince them to evict Mark instead. Last time I checked in on the feeds, she seemed to have given up on trying to stay. It’s sad that she just gave up like that. I wanted more from Shannon. Hopefully, it happens.

James is a ‘Big Time’ villain of the season

The face of the first CBBUS villain

In all honesty, James Maslow is not only the most attractive male house guest in the game now, he’s also the villain of the season. I don’t even think he’s trying to be the villain. The only reason is he the villain is just the way he is coming across. During his DRs, he is just being an arrogant and cocky asshole. It’s working for him too. He’s been feuding with Brandi since episode one when she was asking about singing and she gave him some  massive shade. It’s a one-sided feud because I really don’t think James gives a flying fuck. He’s just doing him now. James has also killed the competitions so far.

In the majority of the competitions he has played, he was in the top two or three. I’m also living for the profanity that comes out of his mouth. I live for former teen stars that cuss. It’s nothing that I haven’t heard from him before but it’s still pretty amazing to hear. I hope that James makes it far but I don’t think he will, just because now, he’s kind of just floating along. Once Shannon is gone, he’s going to be the next to go. That will be sad.

Keisha was evicted because her breast milk was depleting

Not jealous enough to stay and win

Yes, you have read that header correctly. Keisha asked to be evicted because she missed her child and her breast milk supply was depleting. Now, I’m not mocking her decision to go be with her daughter, but rather complaining because that was a wasted space for someone that would have actually wanted to compete. I totally get and understand that she missed her child and wanted to be with her, but she easily could have thought about that before she entered the house. Because she did that, she kind of screwed over her alliance. They were looking to get rid of Omarosa, who might actually win now, and she threw a wrench in their plan. At least she didn’t self-evict.

She also really didn’t end up in doing anything exciting in the game. She was in an alliance with Omarosa called BGM, Black Girl Magic, but that was really about it. She did start the trend of people who nominated James being the next to go.

Thoughts on the season so far

My thoughts so far on this season

This season so far has been way better than regular seasons of Big Brother. I think it has to do with the fact that they aren’t looking to be famous or a showmance. They are actually here to play…for the most part. It’s not Big Brother Canada good, but it’s SO much better than Big Brother 19. I mean, it’s not hard to be better than Big Brother 19. I think Ross and Marissa have a good chance to make it to final two. Their social game is so good. I have a feeling that Metta is going to be a sleeper and end up winning if they don’t watch it. I also think Omarosa will make it far because she is just being to complete opposite of what we expect when we heard her name.

Overall, I hope that Celebrity Big Brother can still extremely good just because Big Brother 19 started out good but then it sucked a major one as it was just the Paul show with Paul.

Big Brother Breakdown: Who are these celebrities?

It’s time to countdown to the first “But First” of the year!

While it’s not the summer of secrets just yet, we are getting a special treat with our first American version of the popular “Celebrity Big Brother.” It’s popular overseas and it’s honestly about damn time that we got our own. It’s just an abridged version of the real game of “Big Brother.” Instead of it being three months long, “Celebrity Big Brother” will be around a few weeks. It starts on February 7th and will last until February 25th. So it’s going to be like we are watching “Big Brother” on speed.

Last night at the Grammy’s, we found out who our celebrities would be and we all tilted our heads and when “Who is they?” I’m here to help break down who these people are. Here’s how it will work: I’ll give you a brief rundown on how they get the title of “celebrity.” Let’s get this out-of-the-way: YOU AREN’T GOING TO HAVE FAMOUS PEOPLE THAT ARE HOUSEHOLD NAMES. It’s what happens throughout all the “Celebrity Big Brother” series. Get over it and deal with this cast. So without further ado, here’s the celebrities that will be entering the Big Brother house:

Meet the Houseguests

Ariadna Gutiérrez– Ariadna is Miss Colombia 2014. She’s also the woman who Steve Harvey fucked over during the Miss Universe. She was told she won but she really didn’t. She was just runner-up. She’s also an “actress.”

Brandi Glanville- Brandi is a real housewife. She’s from the Beverly Hills show. She’s the only houseguest that has previously competed in a “Celebrity Big Brother” series. She placed 11th in the 20th installment UK series. Too bad that won’t help her because it’s too different games.

Chuck LiddellChuck “The Iceman” Lidell is a retired Mixed Martial Arts fighter that competed in the UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championship. He’s a UFC Hall of Famer and a former Light Heavyweight Championship.

James Maslow- James is former teen star on Nickelodeon. He was the one with the hair and abs on “Big Time Rush.” He also is a singer and actor. He placed on 4th on “Dancing with the Stars.” He’s going to be the eye candy of the season.

Keshia Knight PulliamKeshia is Rudy Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” back in the 1980s and early 1990s. She’s the one Raven replaced when she became less adorable and older.

Marissa Jaret Winokur- Marissa is a broadway star who was the original Tracy Turnbald in “Hairspray” on Broadway. Like James, she placed 4th on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Mark McGrath- I would tell you that he’s the lead singer of the “rock band” Sugar Ray but that would lead to more confusion. Mark was the co-host of “Extra” in the early 2000s.

Metta World Peace- Metta World Peace is a retired basketball player. He was also on “Dancing with the Stars” but placed 12th. I feel like they just looked at who was on “Dancing with the Stars” and just pulled them. Ugh.

Omarosa Manigault- You know who Omarosa is. She was the bitch on Donald Trump’s show “The Apprientice.” She placed 6th and then 10th. She was just recently Trump’s director of communications before she resigned in January 2018.

Ross Mathews- Ross is a TV host/correspondent. That’s pretty much it.

Shannon Elizabeth- Shannon was in “American Pie.” She was the foreign exchange student that Jim tried to sleep with.  She also placed 6th on “Dancing with the Stars.”

That’s the cast! Yeah, hopefully it’s better than how it looks on paper. I think if done right, it would be rather good. But it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

“Celebrity Big Brother” premieres on Wednesday, February 7th at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Big Brother 19: Finale/Season Breakdown

Let that bitter tea flow

Well, it finally has come to this. We have crowned a new winner of Big Brother USA. This will be an overall review of the season that is probably the worst since BB9. It was the worst final three since BB15. I’m glad that this season is over and I’m glad that the pain is finally over. So let’s talk about this season ruined the America franchise for thousands. Yep, this season was that bad.

Cheers to the tea that I will spill in this article

The Rise and Fall of Friendship

America’s reaction to Paul losing again

The most satisfying ending to this entire season was Paul losing again. While Paul played a good game, he forgot about one important aspect: jury management. Paul screwed over all of the jury members to get to where he was. Josh outplayed him when it came to jury management. While Paul was trying to not get blood on his hand, Josh was very upfront with everyone. He’s goodbye messages was probably what ruined Paul’s game. Paul overplayed when it came to lying, backstabbing, and just being shady. Josh kept it real while Paul was sharping his knives and sliding them in when he was least expecting it.

Paul’s game started to unravel with the eviction of Alex and Jason. If he didn’t blindside them, then he would have won the game because he knew that they were going to vote the same. Josh’s goodbye message to Jason helped unravel it more as it made him look shadier. It wasn’t until tonight when Paul’s game went down the tube. During the jury questions, Paul gave them fake and rehearse answers where he continued to deny the backstabbing that they were all aware of. But then he totally took credit for it during his speech before votes. If he would have grown a pair and just owned up to it, he could have won. He also really didn’t need to play so hard. I get that he was playing for a purpose of not repeating what happened last season but he will even admit that he took too much risk that really didn’t need to happen.

The jury is slightly bitter

Don’t worry Jillian, It’s bad

If CBS was to make a spinoff of BB with it just being what happens in the Jury house, they would make some serious money because that Jury roundtable was EVERYTHING. Literally, you can cut the tension with the knife. This is also where you will have a divide on why Paul lost. I’ve looked on all social media outlets and it’s pretty much split down the middle. Some are saying that the jury was bitter and they were just pissed off that they got played. Others will say what I said above, it was poor jury management. While the majority of them were salty, they all had slightly valid points. Minus Raven and Matt, they really are just the worst casting choice in all of Big Brother, both US/Canada and worldwide.

I like to think it a mixture of both. Because of the lies and the backstabbing out of nowhere, they were bitter because of how they were told about it. There was no jury management to stop them from feeling this. Paul was too worried about making himself look good and losing again that he didn’t take the time to make sure they didn’t feel the way that did. He also wasn’t good at jury management last season either. If he would have taken the time to say “no hard feelings, I had to do what I had to do,” or something to that effect, they probably would have swallowed it a little better than they did. But instead, Paul was too worried about clean hands. Was the clean hands worth kissing $500,000 out the door?

Overall thoughts on the Season

You guys are in for a rude awakening

While you can probably guess my thoughts, this season was a dud season. Having one vet in the house really ruined the season. It also didn’t help that this season was a bunch of idiotic assholes who worshiped the ground he walked on. It also didn’t help that production tried to help Paul win by reusing comps he won last year and twist that are in his favor. While I’m not blaming Paul for this, it just ruined a season that started off strong before it became a flop. On the Big Brother US rating scale, this season is one of the worst in history. While the finale was a very fitting end, I highly enjoyed Paul losing and Cody getting America’s Favorite Player, it wasn’t enough to save the season. These houseguests were bullies, said very controversial things, and were just plain dicks are in for a rude awakening on the outside. I think a lot of them will regret what they said. If I had to give this season a rating, it would 2 out of 5 and that’s me being generous. It was entertaining but mainly for the wrong reasons. I also found out that most people tuned out once Jessica and Cody were eliminated as they were the only two to call Paul out, to begin with. They proved to Jessica that they are bigger idiots than what she thought.

Big Brother US needs to take notes from its sister series from the north because it’s frankly the stronger show. Fan outcry saved the show from being on hiatus. That’s how good it is. They also just need to let things happen in the game. I’m frankly tired of constant twist being thrown out to help certain houseguests from Production. I hope BB20 is an All-Star season because it’s time for a true All-Star season. But please don’t include Paul. While I would love to see him get taken down a peg, I’m done seeing him play the game. And if it’s not All-Stars, I’ll settle for USA vs Canada.

Big Brother Breakdown will return for Celebrity Big Brother and then for Big Brother Canada. I swear that Big Brother Canada is more enjoyable than this shit we get in the USA. Until then, enjoy this clip of epicness from Big Brother Canada:
