The world is ending in ‘Now Apocalypse’

I love when Nickelodeon and Disney Channels to go “wild” and do outrageous and crazy roles. That’s what dragged me in when I saw that Starz’s new show “Now Apocalypse” would feature a plethora of them. So let’s talk about “Now Apocalypse” and either you should watch or not. You can probably already guess what my answer is going to be.

It’s the end of the world as we know it

“Now Apocalypse” is a comedy show that follows four friends as through their lives in Los Angeles. It follows their friendship, relationship, dating, and their sex lives. Things turn weird when one friend has visions of the world ending. He must then try to figure out whether it’s too much weed or if he was actually seeing into the future.

The show stars Avan Jogia (“VICTORiOUS”), Beau Mirchoff (“Awkward”), Kelli Berglund (“Lab Rats”), and Roxane Mesquida (“Gossip Girl”). Also in the series is Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”) and Jacob Artist (“Glee”). The acting isn’t bad at all. In all honesty, it’s rather good. They are all likable for the most part and do a good job in their roles. It’s not going to get them an Emmy but they should at least get a good pat on the back.

This isn’t the show for you if you don’t like sexual shows. There’s a lot of sex. Gay sex. Straight Sex. Orgies. You name it and the show has it. It’s what you would expect on HBO, Showtime, Netflix, and Cinemax when it comes to their programming. It’s borderline softcore porn but yet it’s using it in a way that also helps propel the story.

The ending of the show was lackluster. Without going too much into details, it was kind was a cliffhanger but not in the way that really made you go “omg what just happened?” It was kind of like “okay…” I just wish it had more of a cliff hanger to it. I honestly thought there was one more episode. I don’t know if I was that invested to it or the cliffhanger was that lackluster.

“Now Apocalypse” is just a show to watch if you are in need of a dirty good time. It’s not a horrible show but it is an earth shattering good show. It’s just one of those shows that you don’t really need to over think but you can still enjoy it. I honestly didn’t know any other characters names until about the sixth episode. If this show comes back for season two, would I watch? Honestly, I probably would. It’s like a trainwreck of sex. You just can’t help but look away.

I do recommend checking out the show. It’s not anything especially but it doesn’t need to be. There are only 10 episodes and they aren’t long at all. You can easily binge the show. This is a prime example of why shows don’t need to be a highly rated show to be a good one. It’s a total gulity pleasure show.

Time to play a twisted game in trailer for ‘Truth or Dare’

Wanna play a game?

It’s the new year and it’s time for all the new movie trailers to be released so you have something to be waiting for. This year is no different as we have a twistedly twisted twist on a childhood/adulthood/drunken game that everyone plays. Someone finally turned the game of truth or dare in to a horror movie. No, it’s not based on being dared to streak around the place or anything like that.

Jennifer Lawrence sums up my life

“Truth or Dare” stars Lucy Hale from “Pretty Little Liars” and Tyler Posey from “Teen Wolf.” Pretty much, it’s all the teen stars from your childhood. It follows a group of college students who go on a trip to Mexico and end up playing a supernatural game of truth or dare that doesn’t end. It gets even better because the game never ends. LITERALLY. Haunted by spirits, the college students continue to play the game. If they decided to tell a lie or not take a dare, they will die. It gets pretty gruesome too. In the trailer, it shows literally someone breaking their neck off a pool table. It’s your standard horror movie.

The movie itself doesn’t look bad at all. It’s a little too gruesome and gory for me but it got me interested with how the trailer was laid out. I spent the majority of the trailer going “Is that insertteenstar?” which worked for the trailer. The trailer highlighted the plot of the movie without ruining too much of it. That’s big because trailers these day tend to show too much about the movie to where you feel like you’ve already seen it.

Here’s the trailer for the movie. “Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare” will be out in theaters on April 27.

A letter to Fangirls

Dear Fangirls,

How are you today? I hope this letter is finding you well. I’m writing this letter because you guys are just too much anymore.

Last weekend, nude photos leaked of Teen Wolf stars Tyler Posey and Cody Christian. You girls, and some guys #nojudgement, decided to take the high road and tweet about how you aren’t looking, linking, or retweeting the photos because “they broke their privacy and is disrespectful to the actors.” While this is commendable, you are trying to fool. We all know that you were eating that stuff like it’s candy. We’ve all heard about your fan fiction that you have written.Your fan fiction is pornographic. You can’t take a moral high road like that. If you guys have very dirty and descriptive minds. There’s no way you didn’t take a peek at the pictures.

It also doesn’t help that you aren’t really respectful of their privacy to begin with. You guys are thirsty and trying to slide into their DMs (translation: they are private messaging celebrities in order to get into their pants) just so you can sext them. You also harass them with it and post things very vulgar to them. So pretty much, you are being very hypocritical about privacy and respect.

While I agree that the actors privacy was broken and we shouldn’t be showing their junk to the world without their knowledge, you looked at it, made it your wallpaper, and screenshot it for the future. I’m not judging you for doing that if you did, you just admit you did look at them. It’s only human to look.

So please stop with the whole high horse crap and just admit that you are thirsty for the celebrities you fangirl over. There’s nothing wrong with it. The only thing ┬áthat is the problem is you living a lie. So please just be honest: you looked at the pictures. That’s all I ask besides you keep it in your pants and off the internet ya nasty.
